New Pediatric Dental Patient Information – Fort Washington, PA
Making Children's Dentistry Stress-Free & Easy
Our Fort Washington pediatric dental practice is committed to providing you and your family with safe, gentle, high-quality dental care. We understand that your child may feel anxious about visiting the dentist. We are sensitive to children’s needs and it is our goal to make your child feel comfortable visiting our practice while providing the best care possible.
Your Child’s First Visit
During your child’s first dental visit, we will review their dental and medical history forms, and take X-rays of their teeth and mouth. The hygienists will clean and polish their teeth, checking for cavities or early signs of tooth decay or gingivitis. Then, the doctor will meet with you and your child to discuss the X-rays, help create an individual treatment plan, and answer any questions that you may have.
Bring your smile, but also remember to bring these with you to your child’s first appointment:
- Your photo ID
- Your insurance card
Regular dental checkups are an important part of maintaining a healthy smile! The American Dental Association recommends that children visit the dentist every six months for regular checkups and routine teeth cleanings to keep their teeth and gums healthy.
Please take a moment and fill out our patient information form. If you have any questions along the way, feel free to contact our practice.
We look forward to meeting you and your child at your first appointment.
Our dental practice accepts most major credit cards and we are in-network with several major dental insurances. Our office staff is always available to help you with insurance claims and paperwork. Please let us know if you have any questions about insurance coverage and let us know how we can help to make your entire dental experience a pleasant one.
